MICHAEL GREEN PIANO 

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Michael Green started piano lessons at the young age of four. This has led to many performances, competitions, awards, and three college degrees. Michael completed his Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of Utah.

Michael is a prize winner in several competitions, including first in the SummerArts Concerto Competition. He has taught keyboarding I-IV as well as private lessons at the University of Utah. He also taught piano classes in Title I schools and helped with administrative duties for the University of Utah’s piano program.

​

He is currently serving as the president of the Tooele Valley Chapter of Music Teachers National Association. He is an active member of both the Tooele Valley and Salt Lake Chapters of Music Teachers National Association. He is also an active member of National Federation of Music Clubs with students regularly participating in solo and concerto festivals held in Salt Lake City.

He teaches piano lessons in Salt Lake County, Tooele County, Davis County, Utah County, Summit County, or via Skype.  Lessons are taught in either your home or at his home in Tooele, UT.
